Fault In our stars by John Green

I have decided that John Green is possibly the most amazing author that lives on this earth. I just recently finished reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green and really enjoyed it. The car ride home after I got it I was reading it. The sad romance of Hazel and Augustus is a sad yet happy and a heart warming tale that keeps you on the edge because of the fact that they both tragically have cancer.

I would most definitely recommend this book to any person from people who love a good read to people that need a bit of motivation. I enjoyed John Green's book Fault in our Stars so much that I am going to the next book by him that I can find which is Looking for Alaska. John Green and the book the Fault in our Stars have won many awards including:
 #1 New York Times bestseller
#1 Wall Street Journal bestseller
#9 The Bookseller (UK) bestseller
#1 Indiebound bestseller
New York Times Book Review Editor’s Choice
Starred reviews from Booklist, SLJ, Publisher’s Weekly, Horn Book, and Kirkus

To conclude I would recommend Fault in our Stars or any book by John Green. I guarantee you will enjoy it!

Midsummer Night's Dream

For English we are reading the Shakespeare novel called Midsummer Night's Dream. Because most of us have never read Shakespeare before we got one that is in Graphic novel form so we can understand who is talking. We are reading it as a class so that when we don't understand the diction choice that  Shakespeare has chosen to talk in she can explain it to us. We haven't got very far into the book yet because we are having some fun with it so we act the scenes out and we can all play a character. Here is the cover of the book that we are reading:

Prada & Prejudice

While I start my new book I decided to do a review of the last book. This book is called Prada and Prejudice. I personally liked this book, however I don't think everyone would especially boys. I is about  a girl who buys a pair of real Prada shoes and falls. When she wakes up she is in the year 1815. I personally love reading about history. This book I found was a olden day book but with a modern twist to it. Callie (the main character) has to go through many struggles and challenges and has to try and fit in however not every girl knows how to fit into the 1815's when your used to the modern day 2000's. The book is written by the author Mandy Hubbard. Some of the other books she has done are You Wish and Ripple. Here is the book cover so you can look out for it!

Twilight

Twilight

When I was at camp I forgot to bring Bear Grylls but I did however bring Twilight.

I decided to read Twilight in celebration of the last movie coming out which i know came out AGES ago, however seeing the add for it coming out on dvd made me remember. Twilight is known world wide and has become very popular. I love the Twilight books. Some people don't I know but however I do. I love action / romance books. They have a fighting and energy while also having a soft side to them. If you don't know much about Twilight here is a brief explanation ( Spoiler alert ).

Bella Swan comes to live with her Dad in Forks while her Mother is travelling. Forks is a small cold and wet state in America. Her Dad Charlie in a policeman. She goes to school, meets Edward how turns out to be a vampire but still chooses to fall in love with him. She almost kills herself by falling to an evil vampire's trick. Edward comes and saves her and they go to the prom and dance away into the night.

That is just the first book. I will give you another spoiler alert for New Moon later.

Bear Gyrlls

Bear Grylls as I said before has his own television show called Man vs Wild. It's and amazing show and it is one of my personal favourites. He goes on amazing adventures all over the country. I must admit he does eat some pretty vial things that i would never even touch. Just in case you have never seen the show before here is a little promo for Man vs Wild.
